Performance and usability. Beyond 64x64, the number of individual DOM elements can start to slow down some browsers.
Can I import an existing image?
Currently, the Pixel Paint board is a blank canvas tool. We have a separate "Image to Pixel" tool for converting photos.
What is the best color palette for pixel art?
Limited palettes are usually best. By using only 4 to 16 colors, you create a cohesive look.
Is this tool mobile-friendly?
Yes. You can paint using touch input on your smartphone or tablet.
